She's a classically-trained singer and pianist, but we first discovered Olivia Chaneythanks to her collaboration with The Decemberists in the group Offa Rex last year. The project showcased her deep connection with the British folk revival. She has a new solo release out on Nonesuch Records, and is in the area for a show at the Grey Eagle in Asheville Wednesday night.
