As the saying (sort of) goes, you can take the singer out of West Virginia.... but Nashville's CMA-award winning Kathy Mattea has always treasured her Appalachian mountain roots, and they are stronger than ever on her most recent recordings, including last year's Pretty Bird. We are pleased to welcome her back to the WNCW airwaves with a live interview/session from The Don Gibson Theatre in Shelby on Friday afternoon, before her concert that evening. Longtime collaborator Bill Cooley joins Kathy Mattea for this live session.
