The Western Carolina Football Team traveled to play at one of the most dominant and successful programs in college football history, Alabama. Cory Vaillancourt of Smoky Mountain News made the trip and watched the game from the sidelines. It gave him a chance to put together a story that described what it means for the smaller college program when David vs. Goliath.
