Friday Feature: Native American Heritage Month

Dec 5, 2018
Vicki Dameron

November was National Native American Heritage Month, which made it a good time to spotlight The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.  However, any time would be a good time to talk about the roots or beginning - to more recent days that depict these strong and brave Americans from Western NC to Oklahoma. An interview with Principal Chief Richard Sneed leads this Friday Feature (aired Nov. 30, 2018).
