Gastonia's Budget Inn came to an end last month after City Officials deemed it unsafe. This followed a long process that saw the motel be a location for crime and other issues. However, it was a roof over the head of numerous extended-stay residents. Officials say they gave ownership and residents plenty of time to make other arrangements before the establishment came to an end.
