Fiddler Jamie Laval is steeped in Scottish traditions and fiddle styles, and has a series of Christmas & Solstice in Scotland shows in Asheville, Charlotte, Lincolnton, & Tryon this month. He brought his fiddle to WNCW Wednesday the 16th for a discussion with Martin Anderson about holiday traditions in Orkney, Brittany, and other Celtic lands.
